Guest Speaker:

Juan Perez is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former Chicago Police Officer. He served with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines as an Infantry Marine and later as a Marine Corps Scout Sniper, deploying to Afghanistan in 2010 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

 
After his time in the Marines, Juan spent nearly a decade in law enforcement, where he held multiple roles including Gang Intelligence Officer and Undercover Police Officer. He’s now the founder of VetRise Academy, a coaching company helping veterans rebuild their health, mindset, and purpose after service. Through his programs and The VetRise Podcast, Juan has guided thousands of veterans toward structure, healing, and ownership in civilian life. He believes veterans don’t need more sympathy, they need self-accountability, self-devotion, and a sense of purpose.
